Good people doing good work — at the lake, in the mountains, and at home in Atlanta.
Get an EstimateJustin Vogel and Ryan Honey have been friends since they were kids growing up in Atlanta. They spent their teenage years rafting rivers, camping in North Georgia, and exploring the mountains and lakes that would become a big part of their lives. They also shared a love for electronics and music — and in the mid-90s, they landed their first jobs together at a low-voltage company in Atlanta, pulling wire and setting up surround sound systems. That's where it all started.
Over the next fifteen years, they went their own ways but never lost that connection. Justin dove deep into the audio-video world — working on high-end theater projects in Los Angeles, collaborating with top custom installation companies in Atlanta, and building alongside internationally recognized theater designers. He traveled, learned from the best, and built a serious reputation for quality work. Ryan headed to the mountains, settling in Clayton over twenty years ago and becoming part of the community through construction, restaurant work, and life in the North Georgia highlands.
In 2010, Justin decided to slow down, start a family, and build something of his own. He founded SoulCraft Systems with a simple idea: create a technology company that does great work and is genuinely good to work with. He focused on serving the Atlanta area with smart, simple systems — no overcomplicated installs, no technology for technology's sake. Just honest work that makes people's homes more enjoyable.
As the company grew and Justin's roots in the North Georgia mountains pulled him back, it made perfect sense to bring Ryan on board. Ryan brought his own strengths — he's a natural with people, loves the sales side, and knows the mountain and lake communities inside and out. Together, they're doing what they've always done best: sharing ideas, solving problems, and having a great time doing it.
The areas we serve are personal to us. Justin grew up camping and rafting along those river corridors with Ryan. He proposed to his wife while camping on Lake Burton. Ryan has been part of the Clayton community for two decades. These aren't just places on a map — they're home. And in Atlanta, where Justin lives and bases his family today, we bring that same personal connection to every client across Buckhead and the metro area.
Our philosophy is straightforward — technology should serve you, not frustrate you. We use just the right amount of tech to make your home more comfortable, more fun, and easier to live in. We're picky about products — Sonos, Lutron, Ring, eero — because we've tested everything and these are the brands we'd put in our own homes. Every project starts with listening, and every install ends with making sure you feel good about the whole experience.
At the end of the day, SoulCraft is about good people doing good work. Good family, good faith, good spirit. We're here to share what we know, help people live more comfortably, and make sure everyone has a great time — at the lake, in the mountains, and at home in Atlanta. That's what this company is all about.
